Amanda Lange is the Head Trainer at Harmony Ranch. With over 12 years of training experience, Amanda has studied
the methods of a number of nationally acclaimed trainers,
with a focus on the innovative techniques of John Lyons.
Her teaching styles help to clarify the subtleties of communication
between horse and human, and how they can be cultivated
to establish a safe, willing, and joyful partnership for both horse and rider.
Amanda is an ispirational and encouraging coach for anyone with a desire
to establish, improve, or repair a relationship with their horse.
Amanda found her beginning training horses through a two year
apprenticeship at 13 years old, during which time she
studied under Certified John Lyons trainer, Connie Hare.
Under Connie's guidance and instruction, Amanda succeeded in
training her very first horse, an unpredictable and unruly young mare,
to become a safe, fabulous mount, and one who has stayed with Amanda
through the years, and taught her much of what she knows today.
Amanda has also studied with Certified John Lyons trainer Ken McNabb,
and gained her certification as a Ken McNabb Apprentice.
